Mini Workout 2

I have created another mini workout to do while breakfast is cooking.  It is a series of 4 exercises to do at 30 seconds each.  You should do as many as you possibly can during the 30 seconds and then rest for 10 seconds before moving onto the next one.

This time you will repeat the circuit twice so you will end up doing each exercise 2 times.  It is a great starting point and then tomorrow you should repeat the circuit 3 times.  It is a great way to blast fat and it will not take up any time at all.

The first one seen in the gallery is high knees.

Begin by lifting your left knee as high as possible then lifting your right knee as high as possible.  You do this quickly so it is like running in place but your knees come up higher.  This extra effort is great for the calves!

Then rest for 10 seconds.

Reverse Jumping Jacks are next.  Begin in the push up position then bring both legs out to the side at the same time.  It is like you are doing jumping jacks without moving your arms.  Do as many as you can in 30 seconds.

Rest for another 10 seconds.  I used a free online timer that you can set each interval.  The one I use is at: http://www.tabatatimer.com/ but you can use any timer you choose.

Next are Russian Twists.  Begin with the body in a "V" shape and rotate your torso from left to right doing as many as you can in 30 seconds.  You can also view my youtube video at:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Thd6wNqW8cI

Rest another 10 seconds

Do as many push ups as you can during the next 30 seconds.  Go as low as you possibly can and if needed, you can support yourself with your knees for assistance until you build enough stamina to do push ups without assistance.

For those of you who are not beginners you can still incorporate this into your routine and it will help improve your cardio without adding much time to your regular workout.

Post any comments, I will reply back to all of them.  I love making new friends and who knows, maybe we can collaborate in the future!
